New Zealand has a shortage of early childhood teachers across the country. We need skilled and experienced migrants to help us address shortages in this area. To be eligible for a visa, you will need a qualification in Early Childhood Education (ages 0-5) at a minimum of Level 7, which is approved by the New Zealand Teachers Council. Your overseas qualification may need to be assessed by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority. Although you will need to have your qualification approved by the New Zealand Teachers Council, it is not compulsory to be registered. However, registration may help you obtain employment since at least one qualified and registered Early Childhood Teacher must be on the premises at all times. We can help you with this process.
