We are looking for qualified and experienced GPs to work with New Zealand’s rural community. Current immigration policy requires that new migrant GPs practise in rural areas. To be eligible for a visa under the Government’s Long Term Skill Shortage list, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery is required. You will also need to be registered within a provisional general, general, provisional vocational or vocational scope of practice with MCNZ. To practise medicine in New Zealand, doctors must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) and hold an annual practising certificate. The application process may involve a qualifications assessment. We can assist you with this process.
