Vacancies exist across New Zealand’s private and public sectors for qualified and experience dieticians. To be eligible for a visa under the Government’s Long Term Skill Shortage List, you will need a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Consumer and Applied Sciences (majoring in Human Nutrition), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics, or equivalent qualification. To work as a dietician in New Zealand you must be registered with the New Zealand Dietician’s Board and hold a current practising certificate.
