We are looking for qualified and experienced Anaesthetics Technicians to fill vacancies cross New Zealand, particularly those in District Health Boards nationwide. To be eligible for a work visa and/or residency under the Government’s Long Term Skill Shortage List you will need a Diploma in Applied Science for Anaesthetics Technicians (Level 5) or equivalent qualification. To be eligible for a visa under the Government’s Immediate Skill Shortage List you will need City and Guilds 752, Operating Department Assistant (UK qualification) or NVQ Level 3 Operating Department Practitioner (UK qualification) or Diploma of Higher Education (DipHE) in Operating Department Practice. You will also need at least two years post qualification experience in anaesthesia. Candidates will also need to be eligible for registration in New Zealand and be able to obtain an annual practising certificate. We can assist you with this process.
